Install and run the Print for Figma plugin.


Introduction

Print for Figma is the all-in-one solution for print design in Figma. Design in real-world sizes, add bleed and crop marks, and export in CMYK - all without the fuss of traditional print design software.


Features

  • Design in real-world dimensions (inches, millimeters).

  • Choose from 16+ presets like A4 and Letter (8.5x11).

  • Apply bleed, crop marks, and margins.

  • Export in CMYK, Grayscale, or RGB.

  • Downsample images to a maximum DPI.

  • Export pages in the right order: left to right, top to bottom, or by page number.

  • Batch export as multiple PDFs, or merge into one.

  • Automatically save multiple PDFs as a ZIP file.


Installing Print for Figma

  1. Login to your Figma account.

  2. Visit the Print for Figma plugin page, or search for "Print for Figma" on the Figma community.

  3. Click the bookmark button to add Print for Figma to your saved plugins.


Running Print for Figma

Login to your Figma account, then follow one of the three following methods to run the plugin:

From the Community Page

  1. Visit the Print for Figma plugin page, or search for "Print for Figma" on the Figma community.

  2. Click the blue "Open in..." button, and choose in which file you want to open the plugin.

From the Quick Actions Panel

  1. Create a new Figma file or open an existing one.

  2. Open the Quick Actions panel by pressing Ctrl-/ (PC) or CMD-/ (Mac).

  3. In the Quick Actions panel, type "Print for Figma", and select the plugin.

From the Resources Panel

  1. Create a new Figma file or open an existing one.

  2. Open the Resources Panel by pressing Shift-I, or select it from the toolbar.

  3. In the Resources Panel, select the "Plugins" tab.

  4. In the search box, type "Print for Figma", and select the plugin.
